Day One – Thursday, November 30, 2017

 

 

 

An early morning departure from Harrow and the surrounding area with arrival in Rutland/Killington, Vermont at our hotel in time for dinner.

Day Two – Friday, December 1, 2017

 

 

 

7:00-8:00 AM      Breakfast is served at the hotel

 

8:15        Depart for Ferrisburgh, Vermont and Dakin Farms

 

9:30        Visit Dakin Farms and witness the production of their

 

gourmet meats and cheese and have an

 

opportunity to sample a variety of products with a little time to shop

 

10:30       Depart for Shelburne, Vermont and the Country

 

Christmas Loft

 

11:00       Arrive and explore this Dickens Village setting for

 

the perfect holiday gifts

 

12:00       Depart for the Burlington, Vermont and the Historic

 

Church Street Marketplace

 

12:30-2:00        Lunch and shopping on your own

 

2:15        Depart for Middlebury, Vermont and Woodchuck Cider

 

3:15  Upon arrival enjoy a self-guided tour followed by a

 

tasting of Vermont’s famous Hard Cider

 

4:30        Return to the hotel to relax and freshen up for dinner

 

6:30        A Buffet Dinner will be served at the hotel this

 

evening to include:  Salad Bar, Breads and Rolls, Maple Glazed Salmon, Vermont Turkey with a cranberry glaze sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, maple glazed carrots, Chef’s choice of dessert, Coffee/Tea and Iced Tea

 

 

 

Day Three – Saturday, December 2, 2017

 

 

 

7:00-8:00 AM      Breakfast is served at the hotel

 

8:15        Depart for Waterbury, Vermont for a visit to the Cold

 

Hollow Cider Mill      

 

10:00Learn about the cider making process and sample a

 

variety of fine apple products with a     little time to shop

 

11:15       Depart for the Village of Stowe

 

11:30-1:00        Lunch and shopping on your own in this charming

 

village

 

1:00        Take a scenic drive by the Trapp Family Lodge (time

 

and weather permitting)

 

2:00  Arrive at the Cabot Cheese Annex & Smuggler’s Notch

 

Distillery, visit both facilities for unique Vermont products, taste their gourmet cheese and do a sampling at Smuggler’s Notch Distillery of their gin, bourbon, vodka, rum and Whiskey.

 

2:45        Depart for Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory

 

3:00        Enjoy a guided tour followed by a sample of

 

Vermont’s famous Ice cream

 

4:00        Return to the hotel to relax and freshen up for dinner

 

6:30  A Buffet Dinner will be served at the hotel this

 

evening to include:  Salad Bar, Breads and Rolls, Vermont Maple Glazed Ham, Baked Macaroni Cheese, Chicken Marsala, Fresh Sauteed Green Beans, Chef’s choice dessert, Coffee/Tea and Iced Tea

 

 

 

Day Four – Sunday, December 3, 2017

 

 

 

7:00-8:00 AM      Breakfast is served at the hotel

 

8:30  Board the Motor coach for your trip home taking with

 

you fond memories of your time                  in Vermont.  Arrival back

 

in Essex County and Harrow area  around 8:00 pm.
