Client Testimonials "Hey Josephine, I hope everything has been going well. I owe you more on our thoughts of the resort, here is it. Our winter getaway we booked with Valente Travel to the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum was outstanding! The experienced travelers loved it just as much as the new ones. The resort is huge, highly maintained, offers so much and is quick to get around on the trolleys! Amazing grounds offered meticulously cared-for gardens, to deep jungles. We really enjoyed having access to the Akumal and Coba resorts. The food, drinks and service were excellent across all three. Very strong meal variety! The buffet was always reliably good and the a-la-carte restaurants were excellent. The entertainment was a blast! Lots of day activities, fun evening shows, lounge areas with live bands – always something to do. The Hacienda was a particularly great feature, it looks like a Mexican town square joined with a Caribbean village where you can shop by day or sit and enjoy the band at night. The beach was a favorite – you DO NOT need water shoes, the boulders and boardwalks installed to preserve the beach are doing a great job and make the ocean area more interesting! Gran Bahia Tulum was jam-packed with everything we needed to enjoy one of our most relaxing, exciting and memorable vacations ever! Thank you again for all your help! Dave Zura. " Dave Zura, Windsor. "Tina, just a quick note to let you know that we had a WONDERFUL time at Disney. The resort was a very fun place. We spent hours and hours (or should I say days and day) at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and MGM Studios (we purchased a 5th day when we arrived for $8.00 for the 2 of us). I think we saw every parade and fireworks show they have plus we bought tickets to "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" which was another parade and fireworks show plus we got to trick or treat (haven't done that for ... I'm not telling how many years) !! About the Disney dining plan ... it was fantastic ! You get more food than you think you could possibly eat but they insist that you order everything including appetizer, dinner and dessert, even if it is to just to take it back to your room. We certainly "ate our way through Disney" !! We came home exhausted but happy. Between the 2 of us we took over 500 pictures !!! They had lots of stuff for kids to do and even had a sandy beach volleyball area right next to the pool! Food was good, although Phil thought it was better in Cuba. Met lots of people from Windsor and even one of my students! Very clean and nicely maintained. It was nice to have the option to go to the other RIU properties for a variety and somewhere to go at night. Rachel liked the popcorn machine at one of the other properties, so we walked over after dinner to have our "popcorn" treat! Apple Vacations was much better than the Bahama trip! They were kind, courteous and organized, considering the amount of people. The flight....the Signature Vacation Reps.....the people of Cuba....the food....the resort...the activities......the weather....everything was perfect! I know watching the news you might have thought we'd still have paper white skin...but we had clear skies everyday....well, except for about an hour on Thurs when it rained. Just wanted to let you know that we have returned safe and sound and we had an excellent trip. Both flights were relatively uneventful... a little turbulence on the way back but nothing to worry about at all. The weather in Holguin could have only been better if you could cut the humidity in half :o) HOT HOT HOT !! ..... The sun was out all the time and boy was it strong! Had to jump in the pool or get a drink every 15 minutes or so... not that I'm complaining! You should definitely recommend the Seafood restaurant to everyone.... The Beer Garden has appetizers and they are all excellent... there is also a 24hr restaurant across the 'walk' that has great sandwiches and burgers. The excursions are good and moderately priced... we swam with the dolphins and took the "Champion Tour" which consisted of touring some villages (if you can call them that) and the countryside by Jeep, horseback riding, swimming at Puerto Rico beach and speedboating down the Sama River. A little longer than needed but a great experience and a great way to see how the people live... Anyway, thanks again for your help and we'll be talking to you probably next spring when we want to book another. Marcy" Marcy Andrade, Windsor. "We have 3 teams traveling to Maui this summer (I'm not sure if we'll go again next year). Our teams are all girls & in Grades 9,10,11 & 12. It's been wild making all the arrangements. We saved lots of $$$ by doing the arrangements ourselves & not using the agent on Michael's web site - he was fine with that as it was the 1st time he had used that business anyway. It's been a lot of work (we have 90 people going) but I think it will be worth it. Our costs will end up around $1500 CDN per person including car rentals for 1 week. We've done lots of car washes for that. The internet is virtually useless to book things on for groups but it has been great to see places and to see what you can do on Maui. If you have a good travel agent I'd suggest that as the route to go.
